My role

Designed the research. Ran the analysis. Published it, and built the system that gets it quoted.

Results

  • Our model puts co-buying at 31.5% of US home purchases in 2026.
  • A dataset of 6,200+ co-buyers and co-owners across five editions.
  • Republished by an industry content network that reaches 20,000+ agents.

What it is

In 2021 we ran the first national survey on co-buying a home in the US, and published what we found.

5 editions so far, each its own sample. Later ones added people who already co-own, so the data covers the whole life of a shared home, not just the purchase.

The research is why the press calls us, why professionals quote us, and why AI search names us.

  • The 2024 survey reached 1,954 adults across 601 groups, in all 50 states and D.C.
  • Google’s AI Overviews cite the data.
